Pennsylvania Licensed Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary

Working from home, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Staff Pharmacist will manage incoming calls regarding medications, address medication-related questions, perform clinical reviews, and authorize prescription refills while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Gather pertinent information from callers and perform medication reviews to address questions and issues
• Receive and interpret medication orders, clarifying with physicians as necessary
• Document encounters and e-scribe approved prescription refills to the appropriate pharmacy

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Required), Doctoral Degree preferred
• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience (Required)
• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania within 90 days (Required)
• Proficiency in order processing and clinical judgment
• Experience with electronic medical records and collaborative practice agreements
