Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar to manage clinical data for the trauma registry.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret and abstract clinical data into the trauma registry database
• Complete case abstraction independently and collaborate with other data coordinators
• Utilize abstracted data for quality, research projects, and trauma injury prevention initiatives

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 2 year/Associate Degree or relevant education and experience combination
• Trauma registrar experience preferred
• Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries (CSTR) within 36 months of hire
• AAAM AIS certification within 1 year of hire
• Completion of relevant certificate/degree preferred (e.g., CTRS, RHIT, RN, LPN)
