Job Summary

Providing leadership and analytical support, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Underwriter Lead will oversee underwriting decisions, manage team performance, and contribute to financial forecasting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and mentor underwriting staff to enhance performance and resolve issues
• Analyze claims experience and demographics to inform underwriting guidelines and strategies
• Present premium rating strategies and respond to Requests for Proposals from clients and consultants

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree required
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience required
• Knowledge of insurance finance and actuarial concepts
• Understanding of the insurance legal and regulatory environment
• Experience in financial forecasting and profitability analysis
