Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Utilization Nurse will review patient medical records, craft appeal letters, and ensure compliance with policies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Compose well-written appeal letters using data extraction and established templates while adhering to company policies
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and support the goals of OPAS and Optum
- Collaborate with peers to ensure effective communication and meet quality and productivity expectations
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania
- 3+ years of bedside nursing experience in ED, telemetry, ICU, or CCU
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation
- Ability to type 45 words per minute
