Job Summary
Handling workers' compensation claims with a focus on Pennsylvania jurisdiction, the temporary remote Workers' Compensation Adjuster will ensure timely payments to injured workers, file necessary state forms, and negotiate claims settlements over a 6-8 week assignment.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure timely payments to injured workers and complete all required Pennsylvania state claim forms
- Review and approve medical bills associated with claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Investigate assigned claims with minimal supervision, determining coverage and compensability efficiently
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of workers' compensation experience, with specific knowledge of Pennsylvania jurisdiction
- Experience with claims systems, preferably Assure
- Active home state license if not residing in Pennsylvania
- Ability to work remotely with flexible hours, ideally in Eastern or Central Time zones
- Strong investigative and negotiation skills with minimal supervision
