Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Adjuster II.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles workers' compensation claims, conducting investigations and determining compensability
• Establishes contact with policyholders, claimants, and medical providers to evaluate and resolve coverage questions
• Negotiates settlements and coordinates activities with rehabilitation specialists and vendors

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Five years of previous workers' compensation claims handling experience required
• Strong working knowledge of applicable state laws and medical bill processing required
• Successful completion of AIC37, AIC44, and medical interpretation courses preferred
• Valid driver's license required
