Pension Project Lead Consultant

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced project manager, the full-time Execution Project Lead Consultant will oversee pension plan settlement projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering high-quality outcomes remotely across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of 2-4 mid- to large-sized pension settlement projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and PBGC regulations while developing detailed project plans and timelines for stakeholders
• Facilitate client meetings, manage vendor relationships, and identify project risks with mitigation strategies to ensure client satisfaction

Required qualifications

• 10 years of pension experience
• Prior knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and PBGC requirements related to defined benefit plan terminations and settlements preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including actuaries, legal teams, and plan sponsors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
