Pension Settlement Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading the execution of pension settlement projects, the full-time remote Pension Settlement Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of 3-5 micro to mid-sized pension settlement projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
• Develop detailed project plans and status reports while facilitating client meetings and managing vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify project risks and coordinate with resources to develop mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with ERISA, IRS, and PBGC regulations

Required qualifications

• 5 years of pension experience
• Prior knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and PBGC requirements related to defined benefit plan terminations and settlements is beneficial but not required
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including actuaries, legal teams, plan sponsors, and insurers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
