PenTest Engineer

Job Summary

To conduct a security assessment of a mobile medical application, the hybrid PenTest Engineer will perform application-layer testing, focusing on user authentication and data communication, while producing documentation that meets FDA software expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct application security testing of a mobile medical app running on a BYOD iPad
• Develop a test approach and report deliverables that satisfy FDA expectations for medical device software
• Execute testing of the app's handling of LDAP-based authentication flows and communication with PACS over Wi-Fi

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of penetration testing experience, including testing of software applications
• Experience designing test approaches and deliverables that meet FDA expectations for medical device software
• Excellent customer-facing oral and written communication skills
