People Business Partner

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate, People Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute core People programs, including benefits administration and leaves of absence
• Track and support employee relations matters, maintaining accurate records and timely follow-up
• Serve as a liaison between the People team and Pet Stylists, ensuring clear communication and support

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in HRBP, People Operations, or a similar role
• Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state labor laws, particularly California labor laws preferred
• Experience supporting a high-volume, non-exempt workforce (100+ employees)
• Exposure to benefits administration, leave management, or workers' compensation preferred
• High emotional intelligence and strong judgment in sensitive situations
