Job Summary
As a trusted advisor and coach, the remote People Business Partner will support managers of an hourly, shift-based workforce by navigating employee relations, performance management, and organizational needs while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary People Business Partner for in-person backup care operations, addressing the unique needs of an hourly workforce
- Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and team dynamics while navigating complex employee situations
- Utilize People data for workforce planning and recommend solutions to enhance retention and address organizational changes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years in HR Generalist or People Business Partner roles
- Experience supporting an hourly, shift-based workforce with an understanding of frontline team needs
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, particularly for multi-state workforces
- Proven relationship-building and communication skills to manage sensitive People matters effectively
- Experience with tools like Greenhouse, Google Workspace, and Slack, with a preference for familiarity with remote work environments
