People Head

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of People.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with and coach senior leadership on business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational success
• Develop and implement people strategy, programs, and initiatives including recruiting, employee retention, performance management, and employee relations
• Drive operational excellence and efficiency in People processes to enable the organization to hire and develop talent at scale and consistently in our high-performance culture

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive experience in the People function with at least 4 years of management experience
• Experience in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or clinical research preferred
• Knowledge of US federal and state employment law and Canadian employment law
