Job Summary
To support a mission-driven nonprofit, the full-time People Operations Manager will design and manage compensation programs, ensure employment law compliance, and enhance HR operations while fostering a culture of equity and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and administer compensation programs, ensuring alignment with organizational values and conducting pay equity analyses
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and provide guidance on employee relations matters, including policy interpretation and performance management
- Evaluate and improve HR operational processes, supporting hiring managers and enhancing the overall employee experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on compensation, employee relations, and HR operations
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in building compensation structures and HR compliance frameworks
- Strong proficiency with HRIS systems and data management, ensuring accuracy and integrity
