PeopleSoft Commitment Control Analyst

Job Summary

To support a large enterprise ERP environment, the full-time contractor PeopleSoft Commitment Control Analyst will serve as the primary functional resource for Commitment Control operations, focusing on budget checking, encumbrance accounting, and integration with Purchasing, General Ledger, and Accounts Payable in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain budget definitions, ledger groups, control budgets, and budget-checking rules
• Troubleshoot budget-checking errors, budget exceptions, and encumbrance issues
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support fiscal year-end processing, budget close activities, and system testing

Required qualifications

• 5 years of PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) experience
• Strong Commitment Control (KK) experience with a deep understanding of budget definitions and encumbrance accounting
• Experience supporting integrations between Commitment Control, General Ledger, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
