Performance Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Performance Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide data modeling expertise and performance-tuning guidance for ETL workloads and database queries
• Lead the engineering of a scalable, cloud-based Data Lakehouse platform to enhance data governance and operational value
• Provide 24/7 remote support for production server applications and maintenance of ETL solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly preferred
• 15+ years of hands-on data modeling and querying experience
• Significant experience with the Teradata optimizer
• Ability to read SQL explain plans and utilize the database engine effectively
• Thorough understanding of internal DBC Accounting information to measure application code performance
