Performance Expert (Virginia Licensed)

Job Summary

To enhance the resilience and performance of Soldiers and Department of Defense personnel, the full-time Performance Expert (Virginia Licensed) will instruct holistic strength and conditioning approaches, assess training impact, and develop tailored educational programs, working primarily onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct individuals in holistic approaches to strength and conditioning and resilience, ensuring effective training delivery
• Assess training impact through surveys and After-Action Reviews, providing detailed reports to leadership
• Develop and facilitate tailored educational programs and workshops that enhance resilience and performance for personnel in demanding environments

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a focus on sport and/or performance psychology
• Teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and Department of Defense personnel
• Thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, and relevant regulations
• Certification as a Performance Expert to ensure effective lesson delivery
• Ability to develop critical thinking and resilience skills in training participants
