Performance Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Owning performance observability, the full-time remote Performance Quality Engineer will design performance test suites, analyze system behavior under load, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to surface performance risks and drive data-informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and create performance test suites for a microservices-based SaaS platform on AWS
• Analyze application and infrastructure logs to identify and root-cause performance degradations
• Define and report on performance KPIs, delivering trend analysis to engineering leadership and product stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on performance testing and analysis on cloud-hosted (AWS) SaaS platforms
• Strong background in statistical analysis and capacity forecasting
• Working knowledge of AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, JMeter, or equivalent
• Scripting proficiency in Python or a comparable language for test scenarios and data analysis
