Perkins Loan Analyst

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the Federal Perkins Loan portfolio, the full-time Perkins Loan Analyst will perform detailed borrower account analysis, process financial adjustments, and prepare financial reports while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and analyze borrower accounts to identify discrepancies and process complex account adjustments
• Reconcile the Perkins Loan servicing system with the institution's general ledger and prepare financial reports
• Ensure compliance with Federal Perkins Loan Program regulations and maintain audit-ready records for all financial transactions

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in loan balance reconciliation and responding to audits
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role, coaching a team
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Department of Education 6C Security clearance
• Knowledge of loan accounting principles and federal regulations governing the Perkins Loan Program
