Job Summary
A company is looking for a Permit Coordinator responsible for managing and expediting permitting activities for convenience store construction and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit permit applications for building, signage, health, and fire
- Track and manage the status of all permits using project management tools
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and general contractors to gather required documentation
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, Urban Planning, or related field preferred
- 2+ years in permitting, preferably in convenience stores, retail, or commercial construction
- Familiarity with convenience store specific permits
- Experience working with multiple jurisdictions across different states
- Knowledge of ADA, fire safety, and food service regulations
