Job Summary

To support retail and restaurant development projects across the United States, the remote Permit Management Specialist will manage and expedite building permit applications, ensuring compliance with various regulations while coordinating with municipalities and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expedite building permit applications for retail and restaurant development projects
• Research and interpret permitting requirements across multiple U.S. jurisdictions
• Coordinate with municipalities, health departments, and third-party permitting consultants to ensure compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience with 10+ years in permit expediting
• Extensive knowledge of building permits, codes, and permitting processes across multiple U.S. states
• Experience coordinating with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
