Permitting Specialist

Job Summary

Managing the end-to-end permitting process for telecommunications projects, the contract Permitting Specialist will work remotely, supporting the PST time zone, and will be responsible for coordinating with utilities and municipalities to obtain necessary approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, track, and manage Joint Use, Pole Attachment, and Right-of-Way permit applications
• Review OSP design packages for accuracy and compliance prior to submission
• Communicate directly with utility departments and municipalities to resolve discrepancies and expedite approvals

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Joint Use, OSP Permitting, ROW, or Utility Coordination
• Strong working knowledge of aerial, buried, and underground OSP fiber design
• Experience working with electric utilities, municipalities, and pole-owning entities
• Ability to read and interpret OSP plans, profiles, and construction drawings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
