Job Summary

A company is looking for a Personal Financial Counselor Trainee, PFC.

Key Responsibilities

• Receives training in personal financial counseling services while working towards certification
• Assists service members in establishing spending plans and coordinates financial management classes
• Utilizes virtual counseling methods and manages duty-to-warn situations according to DoD protocol

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree required, or an associate degree with 4 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience
• Must have over a thousand hours of financial counseling experience prior to application
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required
• Must be working towards an approved Financial Certification within 3 months of employment
• Must demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain confidentiality
