Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter I - Personal Lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the acceptability of low complexity business according to company guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of decisions and perform data entry activities
• Determine eligibility for policy renewals and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Underwriting experience required
• Willingness to enroll in or actively pursue a Property and Casualty Industry Designation
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to provide justification
• Demonstrated planning and organizing skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks
