Personal Lines Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter PL - I.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze applications, inspections, and endorsements to determine policy eligibility and make risk selections
• Provide support to agents and clients regarding policy forms, coverage options, and underwriting decisions
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of underwriting tasks and maintain organized workflow

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
• Active 2-20 or 4-40 license, or industry designation such as CPCU or CIC is preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Self-motivated and able to maintain productivity without direct supervision
• Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
