Personal Lines Underwriting AVP

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Staff Underwriting - Personal Lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Personal Lines underwriting strategic plan to align with performance objectives
• Analyze underwriting data to improve risk selection and pricing while adjusting guidelines as needed
• Lead a staff underwriting team to enhance underwriting capabilities and ensure alignment with business strategy

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or post-graduate studies in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience preferred
• 10+ years of Product Management or Underwriting Personal Lines experience
• Completion of product-related technical insurance coursework (CPCU, CPU, FCAS) preferred
• Extensive knowledge of underwriting practices and field operations
• Demonstrated strategic agility and executive presence
