Job Summary
Managing the end-to-end Common Access Card (CAC) credentialing lifecycle for a government contractor workforce, the full-time Personnel Security Coordinator will oversee onboarding, maintain records of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) assignments, and serve as the primary point of contact between resources and government sponsors in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manages the CAC credentialing lifecycle, ensuring timely onboarding of new contractor resources
- Coordinates contractor sponsorship in the Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS) and guides applicants through the SF86/eQIP process
- Tracks background investigation statuses and maintains accurate records for GFE assignments across the contractor workforce
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in government contractor personnel security or a related administrative role
- Working knowledge of the CAC credentialing process, including TASS, DEERS, and RAPIDS
- Familiarity with Public Trust background investigation processes and DoD agency sponsorship procedures
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or equivalent tools
- U.S. citizenship required for TASS Trusted Agent credentialing responsibilities
