Personnel Security Specialist

Job Summary

To support the US Tax Court's personnel security team, the full-time Personnel Security Specialist will manage the Personnel Security Program, ensure compliance with government security requirements, and coordinate with various organizations in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the Personnel Security Program and maintain associated security databases and files according to regulations
• Develop and update the Personnel Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual to reflect current practices
• Perform daily updates to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and ensure accurate personnel briefing records

Required qualifications:

• US citizenship required
• Current/Active Secret security clearance
• Experience with personnel security processes, including knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DISS
• Experience initializing personnel security investigations using e-QIP
• Familiarity with Federal personnel security principles and methodologies
