Job Summary

Responsibilities: Calling all tech savvy dog lovers! We are looking for independent contractors to help callers needing tech support for a pet safety and training product. Calls are highly technical in nature and will include troubleshooting flows for mobile app (iOS and Android) and GPS technology questions and issues. Contractors must live in and work from the Unites States (except CA, NY, PA, WA) or Canada to represent this client. This opportunity will fill quickly - apply today!

Earnings Potential:

  • Earn up to $17.40 per hour
  • Contractors are guaranteed a minimum of 39 minutes for each hour if logged in and available for the full 60 minutes.

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule opportunities - you schedule your hours!
  • Client hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm CST, and Saturday-Sunday, 9:00am to 3:00pm CST.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong technical skills needed in order to troubleshoot any problems the customer may experience with the product or app. Extensive knowledge of GPS, smartphone apps and both Windows and MacOS systems is necessary.
  • Exceptional customer service skills needed to guide customers through issue resolution with compassion and empathy. Contractors should have a passion for pet safety.
  • Above average problem solving skills and critical thinking ability to listen to the problem then use troubleshooting flows and other resources to find a solution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to clearly respond to customers with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Multi-tasking skills needed to take notes and capture details while listening to customer issues.

Technology Requirements:

  • Personal computer (no tablet)
  • Broadband internet connection, with at least 10 Mbps download speed
  • Wired internet connection, like Cable, Fiber Optic or DSL (no Wi-Fi or mobile internet)
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
  • Windows Defender (built into Windows 10 & 11) is needed for security
  • Wired USB headset with microphone (Gaming headsets not accepted)
  • Mac users: Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility.
  • Contractors must have a smart phone and be willing to install the client app to help customers with troubleshooting and other program work.
