Pet Insurance Program Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Pet Insurance Programs to lead the strategy and growth of insurance solutions in the pet insurance market.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the insurance strategy for the pet insurance vertical, identifying market opportunities
• Lead the design and launch of insurance programs tailored for the pet insurance market
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with insurance carriers and partners to secure competitive program structures

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pet insurance, accident & health, or personal lines insurance
• Experience designing or launching insurance programs, including underwriting structures and carrier partnerships
• Strong understanding of pet insurance risk characteristics and regulatory considerations
• Experience working with insurance carriers, MGAs, and brokers
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, and sales teams
