Pharmaceutical CMC Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CMC Director to oversee chemical and pharmaceutical development and manufacturing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
• Ensure regulatory compliance and implementation of industry guidance and cGMP regulations
• Lead process design, troubleshooting, scale-up, and tech transfer in collaboration with CDMOs and internal teams

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical CMC development
• Experience in chemical development, manufacturing, and tech-transfer
• Proven ability to manage CMC budgets at the project level
• Experience in preparing and reviewing CMC regulatory documents
