Job Summary

Seeking a meticulous Pharmaceutical Editor, the remote, temp-to-perm position will manage the electronic copy editing and proofreading of print and digital assets, ensuring compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory guidelines while maintaining brand integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Electronically copy edit and proofread materials for approval within the Medical, Legal, Regulatory (MLR) system
• Ensure adherence to brand and industry guidelines, including AMA style, throughout the editing process
• Manage feedback from multiple reviewers and maintain consistency across all materials while meeting tight deadlines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English or Communications
• 3-7 years of editing experience in a pharmaceutical company, creative studio/agency, or medical publishing, with senior roles requiring 10+ years
• Extensive knowledge of the AMA style guide
• Experience with electronic approval systems such as Aprimo or Veeva
• Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
