Pharmaceutical Editor

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and passionate, the remote Pharmaceutical Editor will ensure content quality and narrative clarity for a major pharmaceutical client while managing MLR review cycles and adhering to strict regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Fact-check and annotate resources to ensure compliance with medical accuracy standards and MLR guidelines
• Proofread and copyedit content for grammar, punctuation, flow, and consistency according to brand guidelines and AMA style
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of editing experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical company, healthcare agency, or creative studio
• 2-3 years of experience sourcing references and annotating resources for MLR review
• Proficiency with Veeva PromoMats and Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Deep knowledge of and practical application of AMA Style
• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
