Job Summary

A company in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a Pharmacist.

Position Responsibilities

• Make determinations on prior authorization requests for coverage of pharmaceutical products based on established pharmacy guidelines, prior authorization criteria, industry regulations, and sound clinical judgment
• Provide clinical support to the customer care center and engage providers in discussions to support determinations
• Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, operational directives, and customer reference materials, and support fraud and abuse program oversight

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
• Current State of North Carolina pharmacy license required
• Current Pharmacist license in good standing required
