Pharmacist Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Leading implementation and configuration projects, the full-time remote Pharmacist Automation Engineer will translate pharmacy operations into technical bot logic, ensuring accuracy and clarity while managing client communications and project milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and configuration projects, managing scope, QA, and go-live processes
• Map current pharmacy operations and design logic that aligns with workflows to deliver measurable value
• Translate client needs into engineering requirements by writing precise tickets and maintaining a prioritized backlog

Required qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in software implementation, project management, or pharmacy operations with direct project ownership
• Pharm.D., registered pharmacy technician credential, or substantial hands-on pharmacy operations experience
• Ability to translate operational pain points into structured technical requirements
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems
• Working knowledge of PHI handling and standard security and privacy practices
