Pharmacist Manager, Medication Access

Job Summary

Providing strategic and operational leadership, the fully remote Pharmacist Manager, Medication Access will oversee medication access services, manage workflows for prior authorizations, and drive collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient access and care.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and optimize medication access and affordability services across various care settings
• Recruit, train, and develop high-performing supervisors and team members to ensure operational excellence
• Collaborate with clinical pharmacists to implement effective medication utilization and access strategies

Required qualifications

• BS or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience with healthcare providers on strategic initiatives
• At least 1 year of experience in a health system pharmacy or specialty pharmacy setting
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license (RPh) in at least one state
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or personnel management experience
