Job Summary
Providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, the full-time salaried Pharmacist - SD Licensed will evaluate prescriber orders, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and educate patients on medication usage while working nights in either Sioux Falls, SD or San Antonio, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate prescriber orders for safety, efficacy, and appropriateness across multiple EMRs
- Collaborate with physicians to recommend optimal therapy solutions following ASHP standards
- Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and expected outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Pharmacist license in the residing state (required)
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency or hospital experience preferred
- Must obtain four additional state licenses within 120 days of hire
