Pharmacist Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Pharmacist Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing workflows, schedules, coaching/development, and clinical review stations for a team of pharmacists
• Supporting the pharmacist team by identifying issues, presenting resolutions, and preparing for expansion into new markets
• Responding and resolving escalated issues related to prior authorizations and appeals

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
• Active, unrestricted pharmacy license
• 4+ years of experience in managed care performing clinical review/utilization management
• 1+ year(s) of people or project management experience
