Pharmacy Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the Employee Benefits team, the remote National Pharmacy Analyst will manage pharmacy benefit programs for employer clients, focusing on preparing and evaluating PBM Requests for Proposal (RFPs), negotiating vendor contracts, and analyzing pharmacy data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute PBM RFPs, evaluating proposals for financial competitiveness
- Negotiate pricing, rebates, and contractual terms with PBM vendors
- Analyze pharmacy claims to identify trends and savings opportunities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Pharmacy, or related field
- Experience in pharmacy benefits management, PBM contracting, or health plan analytics
- Familiarity with PBM pricing models and formulary management
- Experience with RFP processes and vendor negotiations
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data modeling
