Pharmacy Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure the accuracy of pharmacy billing, the remote contract Pharmacy Billing Integrity Specialist will manage data integrity, collaborate with various teams, and maintain billing fields within the electronic health record.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure integrity of information included in the pharmacy data product
• Complete procedure code requests and maintain billing fields in the electronic health record
• Investigate and resolve charge line billing errors and collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant hospital pharmacy experience
• Knowledge of clinical systems such as Meditech, Allscripts, Cerner, or Epic
• Experience with charge master and pharmacy purchasing and billing
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
