Job Summary
To support patient care initiatives, the full-time Pharmacy Care Coordinator will resolve patient inquiries, assist with drug therapy issues, and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Answers and resolves patient inquiries within committed time frames
- Promotes drug compliance and reports adverse events related to drug therapy
- Coordinates responses and resolutions with internal and external parties
Required qualifications
- High school diploma and a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center, physician's office, or social service environment
- Preferred education includes a two-year associate's degree in fields such as business administration or health sciences
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with initiative
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals within the organization
