Job Summary
Supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey, the full-time remote Pharmacy Care Coordinator will manage inbound and outbound calls, assist with program enrollment, and ensure timely access to therapies and support programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls while providing excellent customer service and first-call resolution
- Assist patients and healthcare providers with program enrollment and create necessary documentation
- Investigate and resolve patient inquiries, maintaining accurate records and managing cases through final approval or denial
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- 1+ years of healthcare support or patient access experience in a call center setting
- Experience with medical, pharmacy, Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial insurance benefits
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and coverage processes
- Proficiency with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications
