Pharmacy Clinical Strategy Director (RPh)

Job Summary

Leading the strategic development of formulary management best practices, the full-time salaried Pharmacy Clinical Strategy Director (RPh) will oversee clinical policy development, manage pharmacy benefit strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the operational efficiency of formulary and medical drug management teams, focusing on performance enhancement and outcomes
• Oversee the monitoring and education of stakeholders on drug development pipelines and strategies for managing new and existing drugs
• Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement clinical programs that drive better member health outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required; Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) preferred
• Three years of managed care experience and two years of formulary management experience in Medicare, Marketplace, or Medicaid required
• Experience participating in or leading a Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee required
• Unrestricted registered pharmacist (RPh) licensure in the state of practice required
• Previous managerial experience required
