Pharmacy Consultant
Job Summary
Serving as a day-to-day subject matter expert in pharmacy, the full-time Pharmacy Consultant will provide expertise for the National Employee Benefits group, contribute to new business initiatives, and support consulting projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop client strategies and prepare deliverables in collaboration with Pharmacy Consultants and health benefit consultants
- Review Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) contracts and conduct financial analyses to evaluate client proposals
- Educate staff on pharmacy topics and identify sales opportunities for coordination with pharmacy and local consultant resources
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health care or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a consulting firm, PBM, or related roles in Health & Welfare consulting/brokerage
- Experience with PBM or health insurance carriers
