Job Summary

Providing day-to-day pharmacy program expertise, the full-time Pharmacy Consultant - WA Licensed will support the National Employee Benefits group by developing client strategies, reviewing Pharmacy Benefit Manager contracts, and educating staff on pharmacy topics in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in pharmacy, collaborating with health benefit consultants to develop client strategies
  • Review Pharmacy Benefit Manager contracts and prepare pricing models to evaluate proposals for clients
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss deliverables and educate local staff on pharmacy topics
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in health care or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a consulting firm, PBM, or health insurance carrier
  • Experience in actuarial, underwriting, pricing, or account management roles within Health & Welfare consulting
