Job Summary
Providing remote support, the full-time Pharmacy Customer Service Representative will manage inbound and outbound pharmacy calls, assist with prior authorization requests, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while focusing on member experience.
Key responsibilities
- Handles pharmacy-related calls from members, providers, and pharmacies, ensuring first call resolution
- Processes pharmacy prior authorization requests and explains relevant policies to stakeholders
- Maintains call quality standards and records interactions accurately in the pharmacy call tracking system
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of call center or customer service experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Ability to work independently on special projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills for developing effective relationships with coworkers and clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone etiquette
