Pharmacy Informatics Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Informaticist-Pharmacy to manage clinical data integration and validation within healthcare information systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and execute mapping of EMR data elements to normalized data models for clinical content harmonization
• Lead technical integration of clinical data by mapping to industry standards like HL7 FHIR and CDA
• Perform rigorous testing of data sets against clinical vocabulary to ensure validity and integrity

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure required, specific to the state of work
• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant experience
• Advanced experience with relational database structures and SQL query writing
• Knowledge of ONC Certification Rules and Interoperability Advisory Standards
• Preferred: Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy with experience in acute care or retail pharmacy workflows
