Pharmacy IT Business Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting pharmacy benefit management programs, the full-time remote Pharmacy IT Business Analyst will gather and document requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and analyze pharmacy claims processing to enhance IT solutions and ensure compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements for pharmacy IT systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria for system enhancements
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing, documenting defects and coordinating resolutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Information Systems, Pharmacy, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis
- Strong understanding of pharmacy benefit management operations and terminology
- Familiarity with NCPDP standards and pharmacy claims processing
- Experience writing business requirements and test scenarios
