Pharmacy Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Operations Specialist who will support pharmacy utilization management programs and provide customer service related to pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review prior authorization requests in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide pharmacy-related customer service to internal and external clients
• Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy program and assist with new clinical program implementation

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Two or more years of experience in a professional or pharmacy setting
• Previous experience in a managed care environment preferred
• Prior customer service experience preferred
