Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician who can work remotely in the EST or CST time zone and has national and state certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review non-formulary or prior authorization requests and request additional information if needed
• Enter approvals or denials of requests and carry out simple prior authorization requests
• Assist in the development and administration of programs to enhance drug utilization and identify cost-saving pharmacy practices

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Preferred: Associate degree
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience
