Job Summary

As a remote full-time Pharmacy Technician Claims Lead, the candidate will manage training for new employees, mentor staff to foster a positive work environment, and oversee the accuracy of claims processing while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key responsibilities
  • Train new employees and ensure comprehensive training materials are provided and reviewed
  • Provide mentorship and support to staff, promoting a positive work environment
  • Review and approve variances and write-offs submitted by staff for accuracy before escalation
Required qualifications
  • High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of insurance billing experience
  • Specialized understanding of billing requirements for Medicare Part D, Medicaid, or Commercial billing
  • Understanding of revenue cycle functions within pharmacy practice or a similar setting
  • Desired: Pharmacy Technician certification
