Job Summary
As a remote full-time Pharmacy Technician Claims Lead, the candidate will manage training for new employees, mentor staff to foster a positive work environment, and oversee the accuracy of claims processing while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Train new employees and ensure comprehensive training materials are provided and reviewed
- Provide mentorship and support to staff, promoting a positive work environment
- Review and approve variances and write-offs submitted by staff for accuracy before escalation
Required qualifications
- High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of insurance billing experience
- Specialized understanding of billing requirements for Medicare Part D, Medicaid, or Commercial billing
- Understanding of revenue cycle functions within pharmacy practice or a similar setting
- Desired: Pharmacy Technician certification
